The Edo Food and Agricultural Cluster, Edofac is the Agric component of the Agency that focuses on complementing the knowledge-driven food sufficiency plan of the State Government to tackle the challenges of farmers and other agricultural value chain players in the state. We are primarily involved in training and empowerment of farmers of all ages especially youths and women as well as other agricultural activities such as processing, aggregation of agro-products, and access to market opportunities for farmers in Edo state. Edofac operates a farmers market that aggregates fresh farm produce for processors and bulk buyers. We have a large database of farmers from across the state who have benefitted from our various programs and trainings in agriculture and with whom we engage directly to negotiate favourable prices for produce, wherby all parties are fairly treated.
